Labor-less Day

Labor Day weekend was fantastic this year! We spend 4 days and 5 nights up at the Lake. The weather couldn't have been better! It was so perfect. It was fun, but more busy that relaxing. We had many visitors, all accompanying us for boatloads (literally) of good times. We didn't do ANY work and it was fantastic. We hung out on the boat, in the water, at the fair, ate great food, drank many drinks. All in all good times. It was very painful heading back to the office Wednesday morning. Lucky for us, the weekend is right around the corner again! YEA!

Huey Lewis is the News

Sunday our friends Gina, Dave and Jackie came up to the Lake to hang out by the pier. After an afternoon in the sun, we headed over to the Walworth County Fair to see Huey Lewis. Other than there is NO beer at the fair (how weird is that?!) we had a blast watching good ol' Huey who is still great as ever - and eating all kinds of goodies!

Maybe the Horse Mocks Me

Sunday evening after the Huey Lewis show concert at the fair, we stopped by the Horse Arena to see our friend Linda and her horse, Maybe. Maybe thought it was hilarious to mock me, but got a little shy when I pulled out the camera. It's still quite amusing, was it just me, the fact that a WI fair is actually "dry" or is she just actually that funny?
